PHOTOS: FAAN headquarters left in ruins following fire incident

The headquarters of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos was in ruins by the time fire service eventually put out the inferno that gutted the building early Tuesday morning.

The fire was reportedly caused by an electrical fault.

Authorities say they have launched investigations into the incident.
