PHOTOS: Buhari all smiles at NEC meeting; FG sets up committee on Dapchi girls’ abduction

President Buhari was all smiles as APC governors and chieftains arrived the party’s Secretariat in Abuja for the National Executive Committee meeting today.
At least 110 Dapchi schoolgirls remain in captivity and the Federal Government has set up a 12-man committee to unravel the circumstances surrounding the abduction.
Information Minister Lai Mohammed made the development known in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday.

Mohammed said the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd), convened the committee.
The committee will be chaired by a military officer of the rank of Major-General, comprised one senior provost each from the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Air Force.
Top officials from the National Intelligence Agency, Defence Intelligence Agency, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps will also play prominent parts in the committee.
A report is expected from the committee on March 15.
The Yobe state government, military, and police continue to trade blame over the unfortunate incident.
