PHOTO: 3 dead, four injured in Lagos Lagoon, Oworonshoki helicopter crash
At least three people involved in the Oworonshoki chopper crash have been confirmed dead.

The helicopter crashed into the Lagos lagoon at the Oworonshoki axis of the Third Mainland Bridge around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, witnesses told Newsroom.

Residents of Odunsi in Bariga said they saw the chopper go down.
“It happened around 3:15 p.m.” Ababyomi Giwa, a resident of Bariga who claimed to have seen the accident unfold, told Newsroom, Wednesday.
“It is true but we are still trying to piece the information together,” spokesman for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Yakubu Dati told local media.
“The appropriate agencies are mobilising on site. So, we are waiting for information.”
