Paris Jackson’s fans fire unrepentant internet bullies
The internet “haters” who made Paris Jackson quit Instagram while she was minor don’t seem to have changed a bit. But “good internet” has risen to defend the aspiring actress.
“When I was 14 I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself,” Paris, only daughter to late king of pop Micheal Jackson, said on Instagram.
“And then I took a two-year break from social media and people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again.
“So I did and nothing changed,” Jackson said in a series of video in one of which she broke down in tears. She later deleted the videos.

“I don’t understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now,” Jackson, now 18, said.
“I’ve tried sticking up for myself, I’ve tried the whole, blocking the haters thing, not reading the comments. I’ve tried, I’ve tried a lot of things, ignoring it, but it’s hard. It is when there’s so much of it,” she continued.
“And I don’t get why I’m such an easy target. I try to be nice to everybody that I meet. I give everyone a chance. I’m usually a very trusting person.”
Jackson is still recovering from an apparent suicide attempt in June 2013. Her boyfriend Michael Snoddy is reportedly helping the teenager get her lives back in shape.
She thought hateful internet trolls had changed their minds about her but was given a shocker after making her Instagram account public again.
It, however, appears Jackson’s haters will find their solid matches in followers who have openly voiced their love for the 18-year-old.
One follower, elaine508, replied Jackson in a post: “Don’t let the hate overshadow the love!!!! We love you!”
Jackson had, Thursday, uploaded a picture of herself along with a post wondering why bullies thought she shouldn’t defend herself.
She wrote: “Looks like I’m the villain now. Didn’t know defending myself was a crime. My dearest apologies.”
While haters took to the thread to spread venom, many of Jackson’s followers responded with love and encouragement.
