Nigerian singer, Solidstar, said the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) is a joke.

Solidstar was not nominated in any category at the 10th edition of the award held in New York on Sunday.
The singer took to Twitter on Tuesday to “rant” about how partial the award setup was.
All these highest famzer gets nominated and highest bidder win awards. I don't need your nominations to know that I'm making Good music!

Solidstar has been accused by fans of using his outburst as a publicity stunt for his new video “In My head,” NET reports.
He dropped the video barely an hour after his anti-NEA “rant.”
This is not the first time a Nigerian artiste would go anti-NEA.
In May 2014, the NEA award organizers were slammed by pop duo, Skuki, when they rejected the nomination by the organisers calling it a “backward nomination.”
