Nigerian children, villagers slaughtered as hungry Boko Haram steal food in Borno
No less than 30 Nigerians have been slaughtered in fresh attacks by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.
The suspected terrorists were reportedly hungry invaded the remote villages of Kachifa and Yakhari, in Borno State, looking for food to forcefully steal.
Not only did their armed robbery operation go well, they actually killed tens of villagers in the process. Children are among the slain.
The attacks happened on Friday night and Saturday morning, reports say.
“They have slaughtered twenty-two people in Yakhari village today, including children, and our food items were looted,” a local source told SaharaReporters.
According to the source, Yakhari was also burned down.
“There is nothing standing there as I am speaking to you,” he said.
The killings will be blamed on Boko Haram, a terrorist group the Nigerian government and military say is “technically defeated” and “dead”.
Boko Haram recently burnt children alive in Dalori village of Borno State. The terrorists also bombed about 58 internally displaced persons (IDPs) to death. The IDPs were waiting in line for food.
The Nigerian government is yet to rescue over 200 Chibok, Borno, schoolgirls the terrorists kidnapped in 2014..
