Nigeria soldiers allegedly push faulty armoured tank in battle zone
A video going round online shows Nigerian Army allegedly pushing a faulty armoured tank in what seems to be an active insurgency zone.
The author of the video is heard in the background saying repeatedly, “they are pushing the APC by the number…Nigerian army, there is problem…manage, manage, manage.”
There have been reports of the military fighting Boko Haram insurgents in the Northeast, Nigeria being under–equipped and demoralized by lack of adequate welfare.
Although the military leaders have always denied these assertions, some soldiers have insisted that most of the military hardware and vehicles they use are faulty and of low quality.
In recent times, military formations have been severely attacked by Boko Haram with many troops bearing the brunt of such incidents.
Many analysts have argued that if the war against the insurgents must be won, the military must be provided with appropriate weapons and welfare to help them accomplish the task successfully.
