Newly approved ministers to be sworn in Monday – Onanuga

“Pray for Our Troops, Leaders”: Tinubu’s Christmas Plea to Nigerians

Seven new ministers will be sworn into Tinubu’s cabinet and assume office on Monday 4, November 2024, after being cleared by the senate.

The appointment of the seven new ministers is subsequent to a major cabinet reshuffle by the Presidency.

Tinubu, on 23 October 2024, consented to the re-assignment of 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios, discharged five others and nominated seven new ministers to be screened by the Senate.

The information was posted on the official X handle of Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the president, Bayo Onanuga.

In his statement, he noted that “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday”.

“The ministers are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs”.
