How “man of God” “forced” marriage on total strangers during church service

Do you believe in God? If He decreed something, wouldn’t you expect it to last forever?
So who is that “man of God” who told Felix Anyanwu he should marry Angela because God already signed their wedding certificate in heaven?
The news is everywhere.
So Felix was in church one Sunday and the pastor told him, and another sister – someone he’s never met before – to stand up.
“God said both of you are husband and wife, so start preparing for your wedding,” the pastor said.
Felix and Angela tied the knot after their pastor informed them Angel Marriage himself was behind them.
After all, the Bible says “he who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive the reward of a prophet.”
But three years after the “prophetic” wedding, the couple said they would stand each other no longer.
Felix said he, and his wife, realised – that although they shared the same bed – they actually lived planets apart. Their personalities just couldn’t be reconciled.
They said they would have dissolved the marriage earlier had Angela no taken in and given birth to their only child.
But even with the presence of the “fruit of marriage,” the couple just couldn’t go on. Three years after the “holy matrimony,” Angela moved out of the house taking the baby with her.
Felix told a court in Ejigbo, Lagos, it was high time they formally severed their marital chord.
He seemed to have reached an agreement with Angela for her to continue keeping custody of their child.
This was also communicated to the court which adjourned the case till January 27.
Felix’s and Angela’s story reflects what goes on in many Nigerian churches worshippers throng in search of all manner of things.
Some seek spouses; some, jobs. Some seek deliverance from witches from their fathers’ and mothers’ houses.
And these churches periodically organise programmes categorically promising to meet those needs..
