Man docked for “manhandling and assaulting” FRSC officer
One Okonkwo Kenneth appeared before an Abuja Grade 1 area court, Wednesday, for beating an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC.
The incident occurred, June 10, 2016, when a team of FRSC officers stopped Kenneth for road traffic violation, the court heard.
Okonkwo was reportedly driving a Jaguar car at the time.
The assaulted officer was identified as Olaniran Ogedengbe.
Okonkwo however pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him.
Presiding judge, Mohammed Marafa adjourned the case till Friday, August 19 for ruling..
