Malawi police arrest Nigerian after finding illegal drugs in his home

A Nigerian man identified as Julian Ihumos has been arrested by Malawi police in the country’s ongoing war on drug and substance trade.

Ihumos’s arrest follows the arrest of another notorious drug peddler, Alex Ojukwu, who was was found with illicit drugs in his home.

Nyasatimes, a news portal in Malawi, said police arrested Ihumos, a resident of Area 47 in Lilongwe, Malawi, on Sunday.

In a statement by the Lilongwe police spokesperson, Kingsley Dandaula, the substance found on Ihumos has been seized.

Ojukwu, on his part, reportedly confessed to have bought an air ticket for Riyadh Randera, 26, who died in Brazil recently.
