LAUTECH to reopen today
In a follow up to the announcement by the management of the Ladoke Akintola university that students and staff of the university should resume on Monday, September 18, an instruction which the lecturers of the university did not comply to. The school through the intervention of the Senate now has a new resumption date.
The Senate President Bukola Saraki on behalf of the Senate has announced on his Twitter handle during the week, that a logical conclusion has been reached and staff of the university have agreed to resume today, Friday, 22nd of September 2017.
The university has been embroiled in perennial crisis leading while various workers’ unions had embarked on indefinite strikes to press home demands for payment of about 10-month salary arrears.
