LASG announces road restrictions as France president, Macron visits New Afrika Shrine

France President, Emmanuel Macron will be visiting Lagos on Tuesday, July 3, and he will be hosted by the Lagos State Government at Femi Kuti’s New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja.
According to a statement issued by the state government, a section of the Ikeja axis will not be accessible to Lagosians as movement will be restricted there for security reasons.
There will be a traffic diversion between the hours of 12 noon and 12 midnight.
Macron, who is visiting the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott to attend an African Union summit on Sunday, will go on to Nigeria’s capital Abuja for talks with his counterpart Muhammadu Buhari on security and terrorism, before coming to Lagos, a vibrant megapolis of 20 million people.
