Kenyan woman dies after breast enlargement surgery goes horribly wrong
A Kenyan woman’s attempt to accentuate her beauty has cost her her life. June Wanza Mulupi, a mother of three, had wished for larger breasts and she was said to have proceeded to have a surgery.
The surgery, however, went horribly wrong, as she began to complain of abdominal pains shortly after. Her intestines had been punctured during the cosmetic procedure, Standardmedia reports.
According to the report, June’s relatives rushed her to Nairobi Hospital where doctors discovered the damage and were forced to immediately admit her at the Intensive Care Unit because her blood pressure was very low.
A family member, the report says, said June’s ripped intestines had caused a life-threatening infection called Sepsis, leading to her death on Thursday, 7th June.
The clinic that attempted to help June actualise her dreams of having larger breasts was said to have been swiftly identified by the Kenya Medical Practioners and Dentists Board (KMPD).
The name of the clinic was given as Surgeoderm Healthcare, which is located in Nairobi and is said to sport several advertisements on the range of cosmetic procedures that they offer.
Burial rites for June’s remains have been slated for Saturday, June 16.
