“Kemi Adeosun applied for exemption certificate” – NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has said its records show that minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun actually applied for exemption certificate.

The body, in a statement today, said it is set to begin investigation into the allegation of certificate forgery levelled against the minister.

“Our attention has been drawn to the issue of the alleged forgery of an NYSC Exemption Certificate by the Honorable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun,” NYSC said in a statement signed by Adeyemi Adenike, its director of press.

“Checking our records, Mrs. Adeosun did apply for an Exemption Certificate. We shall investigate the origin of the purported Exemption Certificate in question.”

Adeosun is yet to publicly address the allegation.
