JUST IN: Man survives as boy, 17 others perish in Ondo-Ore crash
An auto crash along Ondo-Ore road has claimed 18 precious lives.
A little boy, age unknown, is among the dead.
A yet to be identified man escaped death with injuries. It is unclear if his wounds are life threatening. He is said to be receiving treatment at the General Hospital, in Ondo State.
Eleven men and six women died in the crash that occurred at about 11:32 a.m. on Tuesday, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said.
“The tragedy, which occurred along Ondo-Ore (Igushi) road, involved a White Mazda 300 bus and a White Daf Truck,” the FRSC said, Tuesday evening.
The dead victims have been deposited at the morgue.
