JUST IN: Man breaks leg after falling into Lagos well
LASEMA received a distress call at about 6.35 am today 25th April, 2017 concerning a man reportedly to have fell into a well at No. 38 Kujore Street Ojota, Lagos. This prompted the immediate activation of emergency responders to the scene of the incident.
Preliminary investigation revealed the 45-year-old man was found inside a 160ft well, but the process leading to the event could not be ascertained.
Fortunately, the prompt response by the men of the Lagos State Fire, LASEMA Response Team and other emergency responders culminated to the rescued of the man alive from the well.
However, the man sustained a right femural fracture and left knee joint dislocation and was immediately moved to the hospital for further treatment by the officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service.

The Operatives of the Agency, Lagos State Fire Service, Nigeria Police Force, LASAMBUS and men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps were responders present at the scene of the incident.
The General Manager LASEMA Mr. Adesina Tiamiyu noted that proper investigation would be conducted on the incident, he however advised Lagosian to report any strange activities around their environment to the relevant Agencies or call the 767/112 emergency toll free number.
