WICKED WORLD! Jumia worker “murdered by customers to whom he delivered 2 iPhones”
A Jumia delivery man has been found dead after he reportedly went to deliver phones to customers in Port Harcourt.
Police reportedly discovered the unidentified man’s body in a septic tank at a house in Ada-George area of the city.
The man reportedly went missing on Saturday after he went on a motorbike to deliver two iPhones to a yet-to-be-identified customer at the Ada George compound.
Police swooped in on the compound after neighbours notified SARS operatives of suspicious movement.
The man’s dead body which had been tied was discovered to have been dumped into the tank.
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the delivery man’s death.
They allegedly killed the man so they could own the phone for free. One of them had ordered for the goods and chosen the “pay on delivery” option.
