Former Lagos PDP gubernatorial aspirant Jandor joins APC
Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), marking a significant political shift in Lagos State.
Speaking at a press briefing on Monday, Jandor described his departure from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a “reflection of his unwavering commitment to the development of Lagos.” The former PDP governorship candidate in the 2023 general election emphasized that his decision was driven by a desire to contribute more effectively to the state’s progress.
His return to the APC follows a discreet meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa last Tuesday, sparking speculation about his political future.
While details of the meeting remain undisclosed, Jandor’s move is expected to reshape the political landscape in Lagos ahead of future elections.
