“I’ve got a father who doesn’t care,” emotional Special Olympics champ Solomon Jegede reveals on live TV
August 7, 2015
Special Olympics gold medalist Solomon Jegede just opened up on what makes him tick.
“My mother always told me to never give up,” Jegede said on Channels Sports, Friday morning.
“But I have a father who doesn’t care about me. He doesn’t even know what I’m doing…” he continued saying as one of the presenters interrupted him.
He had to…at least to prevent everyone from crying.
The emotions of everyone in that studio appeared so hot they could melt iron.
“My pastor always told me this dream is real,” Jegede, who plays basketball had said earlier.
“He said I should never give it up and now it has paid off.”
Here’s a short clip that’ll let into Jegede’s world.
