Israeli PM, Netanyahu, Warns Iran of Israel’s Might

Netanyahu Fires Warning at Iran

Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has stressed the country’s resolve to continue military actions in both Gaza and the Lebanon war fronts.

The PM made this known at the recent United Nations General Assembly.

“If you strike us, we will strike you,” Netanyahu said in a warning to Iran.

“There is no place in Iran that the long arm of Israel cannot reach, and that’s true of the entire Middle East,” the Prime Minister warned.

His comments caused tension as Lebanon and the Palestinian delegates present walked out as a sign of protest.

Netanyahu’s New York hotel had, earlier, being besieged by protesters calling for an end to the conflict.

Recall that Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel sparked the present conflicts.

The United States and France had put forward a 21-day truce proposal to Israel to cease fire.

Israel hold that they will not accede to a ceasefire.

“It is an American-French proposal, which the prime minister has not even responded to,” the Prime Minister’s office responded.

Over 700 people have been recorded dead in recent bombings in Lebanon, with 1,500 casualties recorded in almost one year of the conflict.
