Inheritance contest: Siblings kill two people to implicate elder brother
Three suspected ritualists are being held by the Kwara State Police Command for the murder of two persons in a bid to implicate their elder brother.
Among them are brothers Saidi and Idris Amadu.
The suspects were arrested in connection with the killing of Fasilat Azeez and Rohimat Kehinde on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
The duo were reportedly waylaid and killed before their bodies were dumped in the compound of the Amadus’ eldest brother, Ayodele Amadu.
Ayodele has since been arrested.
According to the Kwara state police boss, Sam Okaula, the suspects confessed to conspiring to kill their victims just to implicate their eldest brother.
They are said to be aggrieved because he ended up with a larger portion of their late father’s property..
