Imo State University final year student found dead with lover in hostel
Amam Blessing Chinasa, a final year student in the Department of Theatre Arts, Imo State University, was found dead in her hostel alongside her lover.
Reports say she slept in her hostel room with her unnamed lover on Friday but both of them did not wake up the next day.
The smell from the room alerted other occupants who forcefully opened the door to retrieve their remains. Reports say there were blood stains and marks on their bodies, with blood also gushing out from their mouths and nostrils.
They were said to be full of life the night before.
The state police spokesperson, Mr. Andrew Enwerem, who confirmed the incident said, “it was a case of sudden and unnatural death.”
He also said that the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Dasuki Galandanchi, had ordered an investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of the lovers.
