Ibadan alleged murder: Is marriage by fire, by force?

This young couple is beautiful. Perfect match, heart catching smiles. They appear so happy that you can bet your money they never can have any misunderstanding. Pretenses, that’s what many marriages are surviving on.
The young man in this picture is no longer here with us, he is lying cold in a morgue now, dead and done. Killed by the same woman with whom he shared such smiles as you see on this photo.
Stabbed to death as he slept on that matrimonial bed fearing defilement. Whatever disagreement that could lead to a spouse killing her partner did not start today. It has been there, but they have been managing, friends and family have been intervening, the church has insisted that they remain married.
Today, none of those people will feel the pains as much as this couple. One is dead, the other is on her way to prison, even if she doesn’t go to a physical prison, she will forever be imprisoned by her conscience.

There is no consideration worth punishing yourself with a marriage which has lost its meat: CONFIDENCE.
If it is the children, they are better off brought up by a single parent than being traumatized in a house of hate, suspicion and mistrust. There is no worse environment to bring up a child than an environment devoid of love and peace.
No matter how much you love that man or that woman, no matter what your own history is, if you lose that confidence in him, walk away and stuff your ears with wool.
Do not try to please anyone with your marriage, it is your life that is at stake. You may not be killed with a stab, you can die of hypertension or some other things arising from a hot home.
