“I served him for 3 years and he didn’t settle me” – Man hacks brother, wife, to death in Ogun
A man identified as Okwudili Okoro has landed in hot waters in Ogun after allegedly hacking elder his brother and his wife to death.
Okwudili said he was angered that his brother, Azuibike Okoro, whom he had served diligently, didn’t reward him.
He had led an accomplice, identified as Kenneth, to Azuibike’s house in the Ijoko area of the state and dealt him machete blows.
Azuibike’s wife, Jacinta Okoro, was not spared by the bloodthirsty men.
Okwudili was arrested after one Joseph Nwagu reported at Sango Division of the command that Azuibike and his wife had been hacked to death by the suspect.
The suspect, speaking with the police, said himself and Kenneth bought two cutlasses, sharpened them and headed to his deceased’s house when he learnt that his brother was not ready to settle him for the three years of service he rendered to him in the cosmetics trade.
Okwudili said upon getting to his brother’s house, they met him eating with his wife and before he could utter a word, they descended heavily on them with the cutlasses and hacked them to death.
Kenneth escaped from the police and police are on the hunt.
Police commissioner in the state Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered that Okwudili be transferred to homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Abeokuta, for further investigation.
