Croatia captain and Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohammed Salah to win the FIFA men best player for 2018 popular known as Ballon d’Or hosted in London.
The Croatian captain led his country to qualify for the FIFA 2018 world cup finals and was given the best player for the tournament.
He also helped Real Madrid in carrying Real Madrid in carrying the champions league three times in a role with the help of his creativeness and passing skills and was also crowned UEFA best player.
Modric was voted for the FIFA best player award by coaches and captain of countries Including Messi and Ronaldo who also voted for him as the best player.
The 33-year old versatile midfielder who is popularly known for his creativity and rate of passing skills when he is on the field started his football youth career in 1996 during at Zader in Croatia, moved to Dinamo Zagreb and now in Real Madrid.
