Horrifying moment grandmother slips and drops 4-month-old toddler 30ft down an escalator
CCTV caught the horrific moment when a grandma, in an attempt to descend an escalator, slipped and dropped her four-month-old grandson in Shanghai, China on Saturday.
The horrifying clip shows the grandma lose her footing, dropping the toddler she was carrying in one arm, some 30ft above ground at a department store.

Another lady and child, reported to be the baby’s mother and older sibling, walked closely behind.
In the ensuing confusion and rush to save the baby, the mother can also be seen leaving behind her older child.
The boy was reportedly rushed to a hospital but died in the early hours of this morning.
