Gateman stabs boss to death over N10,000
A gateman has allegedly stabbed his 50-year-old boss to death.
The businesswoman was found dead with a knife still in her stomach in her apartment at Victorial Garden City, VGC.
Mabel Okafor lived alone in a duplex in the area. The unidentified gateman was the only other person in the building.
A resident of the area told Vanguard that the fleeing gateman had previously said he would leave an indelible mark on her madam after she refused to increase his salary.
“They(other gatemen in the area) said he claimed he was being paid N20,000 but demanded for an increase of N10,000 but the woman refused,” the source said.
The gateman allegedly stabbed the woman last Wednesday but her body was not found until members of her church went visiting on Friday.
Lagos police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, said on Monday that police were still investigating the matter..
