FRSC rescues 11 accident victims, recovers N2m
Officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission on Saturday rescued 11 victims of an accident around Alapako, Ogun state.
The victims – 3 male adults, 6 female adults and 2 female children – all sustained varying degrees of injuries.
The lone crash involved a yellow Toyota LiteAce bus travelling from Ibadan to Lagos with. The suspected cause of the crash was tyre burst which made the bus lose control.
The injured victims were taken to Ifeoluwa hospital Ogunmakin for medical treatment.
The officials also recovered a sum of N2,096,770 belonging to one of the victims.
One Mrs. Asabi Adenike, who sustained injuries and undergoing medical attention was identified as the owner of the bag containing the recovered money.
She requested that the money he handed over to her mother, Mrs. Bisola Adedeji.
