FRSC recalls commander for cutting female officers’ hair
Andrew A. Kumapayi, a Federal Road Safety Commission’s Corps sector commander, is in trouble, or so it seems.
Kumapayi visited an FRSC unit in Port Harcourt on Monday. He inspected the fingernails and hair of female officers.

He gave punitive haircut to female officers who wore long hair...like FRSC was some kind of God knows.
Newsroom asked FRSC to state why it supports, if it does, such practice. We’re waiting for their reply.
FRSC spokesperson Bisi Kazeem, however, told Punch this morning the said commander has been recalled.
Kazeem said FRSC marshal Boboye Oyeyemi recalled the commander as part of investigation into the incident which has been widely condemned.

The FRSC unit where the hair cutting took place posted photos of the incident on Facebook.

The post, as at Monday night, appeared to have been deleted after the photos went viral.
