Four die, 13 injure in multiple crash in Abuja
A multiple accident involving four vehicles has led to the death of at least four persons in Abuja early Monday morning.
The accident, according to NAN, involved a commercial bus, a 2001 Mazda 232 car, 2004 Toyota Corolla and another Toyota Corolla.
Three males and one female died in the accident at Ushafa-Bwari road, while thirteen others were injured.
The Federal Road Safety Corps Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, blamed the crash on reckless driving.
Kazeem said the injured victims were rushed to Bwari General Hospital for treatment, while the dead were deposited at the morgue. He also said the scene had been cleared to enable free flow of traffic.
“The injured and the dead victims have been taken to Bwari General Hospital, the obstruction was cleared and traffic control handed over to Inspector Linus of Motor Traffic Division, Bwari Police outpost,” Kazeem said.
