Former CBN Deputy Governor appointed as FERMA chairman

The Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Tunde Lemo, has been appointed as Chairman of the Federal Emergency Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

The appointment was made by President Muhammadu Buhari via a letter to the Senate. Buhari also appointed a new managing director and six members of the board of FERMA.

President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, read the letter from Buhari at the plenary on Thursday in which he sought legislative approval for the appointments.
