Four armed robbery suspects Ahmed Fatai, Rafiu Mogaji, Godwin Uzong and Bayo Kadiri are dead.

They died after an angry mob attacked them at Fadeyi area of Lagos State, on Tuesday.

Their robbery operation in the area did not go as planned.

They had forcefully stolen N400,000 and a phone from someone in Ilupeju, we were told. They also snatched a bag from Ms. Joy Oroh. There was N200,000 inside the bag.

Their end began after a police officer spotted them and shot one of them. That one escaped with gunshot wounds. The four others, now in disarray, were not so fortunate. We heard some folks mobilised and gave them a chase.

The four were caught and beaten like kilode.

Bayo Kadiri, died before being taken to the Onipanu Police Station. The rest bled to death while being detained.
