Fake police officer nabbed for harrassing, attempting arrest of Ibadan residents

Residents of Ibadan, Oyo State, are heaving a heavy sigh of relief after the “policeman” who made them pass through hell was arrested.
“Michael Olayinka has been parading himself as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) attached to Police Area Command office Agodi,” the police said after making the arrest.
Real policemen spotted the fake officer at about 2:00pm at Iwo Road shopping Complex Ibadan, Monday.
He was “harassing and trying to effect arrest of innocent citizens,” the police said.
He was arrested, and the State CIID Ibadan is investigating the situation.
In defence of its real men, the police said at least 90 per cent of “bad cop” situation is the hand work of fake police officers.
