Eunice Elisha: Slain Abuja megaphone preacher buried on birthday
Eunice Olawale Elisha, the 42-year-old woman killed while preaching in Abuja, has been laid to rest.
Eunice’s remains were committed to the earth Saturday, July 23, the day she would have clocked 42. A wake keep held in her honour on Friday.
The family wore white to the wake keep.
Her widower Pastor Olawale Elisha fought tears as he paid his finally respect to the woman who bore him seven children.
The Olawale’s attend the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) where the father of the house is a pastor, and Eunice a deaconess.
Eunice’s first daughter couldn’t contain her sorrow.
Final respect: Family, church members and others gathered at Eunice’s grave.
Presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina attended Eunice’s funeral service.
So was Bring Back Our Girls Campaigner Oby Ezekwesili who has vowed not to rest until Eunice’s killers are brought to justice.
FG sent a delegation led by the SGF to #EuniceOlawale's funeral. The SGF's assurance that FG will give her Justice was strong. WE WATCH.
