Erik Ten Hag Gives Reason For Sancho Squad Omission

Man Utd Gaffer, Erik Ten Hag, has revealed the real reason behind the omission of Jadon Sancho from the squad that faced Fulham on Friday.
United opened the new English Premier League (EPL) season with a 1-0 win over their London rivals this evening.
Despite the result, the major talking point was the exclusion of Jadon Sancho from the matchday squad.
Ten Hag has now cited an ear infection as the reason behind the Englishman’s absence.
“Why Sancho out?
“Jadon in the week had an ear infection and was not 100 per cent fit,” Ten Hag claimed.

On whether Sancho still had a place at Manchester club, the Dutch tactician described the fight for starting berths as “survival of the fittest.”
“He could play but we made choices. That can change.
“There will be a decision, survival of the fittest. I can only put 20 players in the squad,” the Coach stressed.
Despite this assertion, doubts still remain as to Sancho’s future. PSG had an interest in the player, but now look to have become passive in their pursuit.
Pundits reckon that the player could very well move to another club before the transfer window runs out.
