‘Embrace Gratitude Despite Hardship’ – Atiku Urges Nigerians at Christmas
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged Nigerians to embrace gratitude and reflect on the blessings of the season, despite the challenges confronting the nation. In his Christmas message to the Christian community, Atiku called for unity, love, and compassion during this festive period.
“This season reminds us of the importance of love, unity, compassion, and selflessness. It is a time to reflect on these values and come together as a nation despite the challenges we face,” he said.
Atiku acknowledged the hardships faced by many Nigerians, which he attributed to poor leadership and its consequences on the country’s well-being. However, he encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and confront the root causes of their struggles.
“I encourage Nigerians to embrace gratitude for the blessing of this season, even amidst the hardships confronting our country. It is also a time to confront the root causes of our struggles, including poor leadership, which has led to widespread suffering,” he added.
