EFCC arraigns FUNAAB Pro Chancellor, VC and Bursar for misappropriation of funds

The Pro Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB, Senator Adeseye Ogunewe will on Friday, November 25, be arraigned by the Ibadan Zonal Office of EFCC, on charges of abuse of office and misappropriation of funds reported against some of the institution’s management.

Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof Olusola Oyewole and the Bursar, Mr. Moses Olusola Ilesanmi will also appear alongside Ogunewe to defend the charges levelled against the institution’s management and some members of the Governing Council.

EFCC says it received a petition from some concerned stakeholders of FUNAAB, alleging that the Pro Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor and the Bursar engaged in an “unbridled corruption and betrayal of public trust.”
