Eden Hazard says “I was like a ghost” and Twitter goes into overdrive
“I was the best player two years ago but last season I was like a ghost,” Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard told Fox Sports.
“I want to be the best again and win titles,” the 26-year-old Belgian said.
That statement has thrown Twitter into overdrive.
Some dissed Hazard. Some dragged Barcelona star Neymar into the frame. Some insulted each other. On a Monday morning!
Eden Hazard has admitted playing "like a ghost" during Chelsea's poor defence of their Premier League title last season. #CFC

Hazard is still the most overrated player in the world, just edges out whatever English player that plays for Arsenal

Neymar has done well to fit into the Barca's attacking trident, tbt, Hazard would have been overshadowed if he played along Messi too.

At the age of 25, Lmao, Neymar has 50 goals in 75 apps for Brazil .
While Hazard himself is not sure if he can be the main man for Belgium— BAMBAM (@OJOBAMIJI) January 9, 2017

CFC fan and I feel Neymar is better than hazard. Neymar might not be having a swell time currently, but regardless he has proven himself . .

Hazard won the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year and was named the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year in 2014/15 as his performances inspired Chelsea to the title under Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho was sacked before Christmas last season. Hazard’s dip in form contributed to that disaster.
The Belgian is, however, already doing well under new boss Antonio Conte, as Chelsea, now five points clear at the top of the log, looks like they could clinch the English Premier League title again.
