Two suspected fraudsters are cooling their heels in EFCC custody for allegedly defrauding a victim of N31 million under the guise of making “money medicine” for him.

Both Balogun Olumide Ojo and Augustine Opaso, according to the commission, successfully deceived their victim who wanted miracle money.

The victim complained to the EFCC that Ojo and Opaso made him believe that he could access his family wealth through some “special prayers” that would offer him “money medicine”.

Ojo was arrested at the Reception hall of Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt where he was waiting to collect more money from the victim.

EFCC said that the suspects operated in Port Harcourt and Akungba, Ondo State.

Ojo confessed that they were operating a shrine in Akungba where ” special money-making prayers” were being offered.
