Delta: Fulani herdsmen flee after attack left local man blind in one eye

Three suspected Fulani herdsmen have fled after attacking community residents in Odedegho, Delta state.

According to an eyewitness, Isaac Ejiro, at about 2.00 p.m they were seen along a bush part at the roadside tending their cows”

“At about 7 p.m they had attacked a man after a man intersected them, they injured the man and blinded one of his eyes while a woman and her daughter ran away to raise alarm in the community”

“When the information got to the community, they all mobilized and entered the bush searching for them. They were seen but they took on their heels and only one was caught”

“The community residents have contacted the police but they are yet to respond, Isaac said.”
