Dangote: I am not interested in politics
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has distanced himself from reports saying he will run for the Presidency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2019.
Reports earlier stated that he would run for the presidency after being wooed by the PDP think tank ahead of the 2019 presidential election.
Dangote made the denial while reacting to a report that officials of PDP think-tank programme set up by former President, Goodluck Jonathan have contacted him to be the party’s presidential flag bearer in 2019.
