Couple allegedly burn 17-year-old boy’s manhood for “raping” their daughter
A 17-year-old boy is battling to regain the potency of his manhood after a couple in Sokoto allegedly burnt his male organ.
NAN reports that the boy, a SSS3 student, was accused by the couple of raping their daughter.
They reportedly arranged for the unnamed boy’s capture and subjected him to severe torture at their house.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) boss in Sokoto, Mr Babangida Abdullahi said the couple, names withheld, were arrested on Tuesday for taking law into their hands.
“They alleged that the teenager, a Senior Secondary School three students, raped their four-year old daughter,” Abdullahi told NAN on Wednesday.
“So, they sponsored some boys who seized him on March 24, took him to the suspects’ house, the suspects severely tortured him and burnt his manhood.
“They also locked him up in a toilet up to the following day, March 25.
“The victim was later taken to the Specialist Hospital, Sokoto, where he is responding to treatment.”
The commandant further said that the suspects would soon be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of thorough investigations.
