Chelle Set to be Announced as Super Eagles Coach on Monday
Éric Sékou Chelle is set to be officially announced as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles by the Nigeria Football Federation.
The NFF announced this on Sunday in a statement released on its official website.
The unveiling will take place at the Media Conference Room of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, at 11a.m on Monday.
Recall that the appointment of Chelle was confirmed last Tuesday by the NFF Executive Committee.
This follows a recommendation from the Federation’s Technical and Development Committee.
In his reaction, NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, remained confident about Chelle being the right fit for the job.

“We appreciate the fact that Nigerians are very passionate about football, which is why there have been different reactions following the appointment of Coach Chelle.
“However, the NFF appeals to Nigerians to come together and support him, as we believe he has the qualities to achieve success with the Super Eagles,” Gusau said.
Gusau assured that Chelle will be fully backed by the NFF to get the job done.
Chelle will first take charge of Super Eagles B at the upcoming African Nations Championship in East Africa next month.
Chelle has now left his previous role with Algerian club, MC Oran.
The Malian will home he can lead the Super Eagles to victory even as the task appears tasking.
