Buhari returns to Nigeria after Commonwealth gaffe
President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria from his London trip where he attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government meetings.
Buhari’s time at the city had been shrouded in controversy, after he said a lot of Nigerian youths do not want to work.
Many Nigerians had berated the president for the statement, with claims he didn’t truly present a good case for Nigerian citizens in the international eye.
There were positives from the president’s London trip, however, with one being the announcement that oil company, Shell was already preparing to invest $15 billion in Nigeria.
Buhari will now be expected to address other pressing matters in the country, one of which is to ensure security operatives secure the release of Leah Sharibu, the Dapchi christian schoolgirl.
