Boko Haram suicide bombers now carry explosives in women’s handbags – Police

Boko Haram seemed to be upping its deadly tactics by the day.
As if the use of hijab-wearing, bomb-carry teenage girls bombers was not troubling enough, the terrorist sect is employing something entirely new.
“Suicide bombers have now device the use of fashion bags to convey improvised explosive device (IED),” the Nigeria police has told Nigerians on Tuesday evening.
“People in and around Yobe State as well as the entire country should watch out for excessive and gorgeous dressing bag carrying young girls/older women.
“This bag (pictured above) is one of such recent discovery in Yobe State by Police Personnel.”
Boko Haram has been updating its strategies against Nigeria, a country it aims to convert into an Islamic Caliphate, so called.
The use of hijab to blend into the predominantly Muslim population in northeastern Nigeria, where suicide bombings are common, led to calls to ban the hijab.
With the new terror move, it seems the call for banning hijab would not be a great idea after all.
Leading Bring Back Our Girls advocate, Aisha Yesufu, had said banning the hijab would not only be pointless; it would violate the right of Muslim women.
