“Stuart, Janell and I checked into the hotel in Ore within minutes of one another (It wasn’t planned),” Awofeso wrote.
“An Australian couple travelling the world–with their dogs–on motorbikes, they’ve been on the road for three years and Nigeria is their 33rd country.
“They arrived from Ogbomoso and were headed towards Calabar next day.
“As travellers, we spoke the same language, sharing tales and beers after dinner and breakfast (ogi and moimoi) the next morning.
“Their next country is Cameroon,” Awofeso wrote.
