AU advisor blasts “women who can’t submit to husband’s authority”
African Union (AU) advisor Remi Adeoye has a message for women.
“I beg you in the name of whatever you hold dear, if you are on my friends’ list and you are a married woman but you believe that your husband has no authority over you and cannot tell you how to live your life, quietly remove yourself from my list,” he wrote on Facebook.
“Such belief, conduct and posturing whether in pretext or in reality is a vexation to my spirit.
“If you are a spinster and you hold the same view, that when you marry, you cannot submit to your husband, do yourself the same favour.
“Thank you,” he said.
Adeoye later posted on the same platform regarding the kind of relationship he shares with his wife.
