70-year-old herbalist “sends 57 wives packing for sleeping with his sons”
A 70-year-old Nigerian herbalist reportedly divorced his 57 wives over marital infidelity.
The women, Simon Odo Okoro a.k.a Onuwa alleged, were going to bed with some of his sons, reports say.
Onuwa, who has married at least 69 women, lives in Aji, Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. He married 18-year-old Chidinma in November 2015. She’s the only one he didn’t divorce because “she remains faithful to me”.
The herbalist is also known variously as “King Solomon of Africa” or “King of Satan”.
He has a notebook containing names of his wives and over 200 children listed according to their dates of birth. His first son, Emeka, was born on December 15, 1969. Seven of his children are Lord Chosen Church pastors.
Onuwa, born Catholic, reportedly detests seeing his children worshiping elsewhere other than in the Catholic Church.
Onuwa said he would not want his children to become herbalists fearing they could “use my power for evil”.
“I will not encourage them to inherit my medicine but I may bequeath them to some of my younger children, not the old, greedy ones,” he told the South East Voice.
