61-year-old woman cut in half, kidneys, intestines removed

Passers-by found a woman’s body cut in two and vital organs removed in Seshego, Limpopo province of South Africa, police say.

The body was found next to a dam very early on Friday morning.

“Her body had been cut into two and the kidneys and intestines were removed. Her lips, tongue and nose were also cut, but not removed from the scene,” Colonel Ronel Otto told News24 South Africa.

The woman, aged 61, was identified as Mapula Margaret Malatji.

Police are still searching for the murderers..
